High Speed Broadband Wireless Internet Installation
OzComm installers will install your equipment. The charge is based on a basic installation to one computer. If you have special installation requirements or connections to more than one computer extra charges may apply. Please contact us for details.
The following equipment is an example of what is used to provide OzComm Broadband Wireless:
Wireless Modem
The wireless modem generally sits next to your computer or in the antenna and is used to convert the data from your computer to radio frequency signals for the antenna. The modem also converts the radio frequency signals coming from the antenna to data packets that your computer can understand.
Cabling connects the wireless modem to the antenna and your computer. The type of cable used will vary from installation to installation. Computers will need either a USB port or an ethernet port to connect to the wireless modem.
Wireless Antenna

The antenna is mounted outside your location and is used to send and receive signals to OzComm's tower located in your area. This antenna provides the wireless connection which is used to access the Internet. There are several types of antenna and one to meet your requirements will be used at your location.
